The purpose of LDS OSS is to help advance God's purposes using our knowledge of technology and science. We strive to do this in harmony with the teachings and wishes of the leadership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are not officially affiliated with the LDS Church, but our members ascribe to its teachings, and labor within the established principles of revealed doctrine and inspired Church leadership.

In a spirit of charity, respect, and faith, we attempt to provide affordable technological aids to individuals attempting to live as disciples of Christ in a modern world. We sponsor Open Source projects and advance the adoption of Open Standards in an effort to make our technologies accessible to all people.

We also have a Mailing List which we invite you to join in and participate. Over time we hope to distill the most important information shared on the Mailing List, making it available here.
